1. Project Manager

This role involves the continued development project management for VirtualSAFE and customer implementations. The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the successful execution of projects including the management of all resources and timelines. This will involve staffing and resource planning for the projects, attending project team meetings, setting project priorities and assigning tasks, identifying and documenting project issues, and providing status reports to the Executive team. The successful candidate will be knowledgeable in cross-functional requirements in a diverse business environment and will have demonstrated the ability to keep projects on schedule, budget and target with respect to deliverables, and have proven exceptional skills in team management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all implementation of project activities.

• Development and management of an implementation plan and timeline.

• Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.

• Identify resources needed and assign individual responsibilities.

• Effectively apply a project management methodology and enforce project standards.

2. System Architect

The successful candidate will play the lead role in the architecture and design of software solutions for projects.  This individual will be focused on researching and designing product/system components that are consistent with industry best practices, ensuring solutions are scalable, automated and have above average performance rates.

The successful candidate must have an in depth technical knowledge of technology focusing on database solutions involving data integration. This individual must demonstrate a great track record of modeling, implementing and advancing database solutions for large data volumes.

Responsibilities

• Provide architectural and design leadership and support in all phases of the project development life cycle.

• Deliver high level and detailed use cases and translate them into object models.

• Serve as technical lead on project assignments.

• Conduct Proof-of-Concept activities in order to test new technologies and their applicability to the project.

• Enforce enterprise level architectural strategies, vision, development, and security standards for each project.

• Perform high-level analysis and design.

• Identify the appropriate work breakdown for interactive work packages, within the constraints of the associated project.

• Facilitate meetings to walk through architecture and design with management and project teams to ensure compliance and completeness.

• Identify the design patterns to be used.

• Recommend software development tools and languages.

• Review and refine architecture as needed.

Qualifications

• 7+ years experience in application architecture, design, development and systems integration with at least 4+ years in a senior development role designing and implementing complex database systems on Oracle.

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead assignments and teams.

• University/College degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent.

• An understanding of programming using Visual C++, Visual Basic, COM/DCOM, Java/JavaScripts, SQL, Oracle, HTML and ASP.

3. Business Systems Analyst

Cyberun currently has an opportunity for a Business Systems Analyst.  This is a high profile role where the scope encompasses analysis of a variety of custom applications based on VirtualSAFE.  The successful candidate will be responsible for providing the detailed explanation, functional specification and working with the developers to create a solution.  The primary objective of this position is to be an intermediary between the business and the developers.  Credible technical skills are necessary to help the developers create and finalize their design.

Responsibilities

• Quickly understands the business issues and data challenges of client's organization and industry.

• Develops functional specifications and system design specifications.

• Reviews and edits requirements, specifications, business processes and recommendations related to solutions.

• Assists in the facilitation of team and client meetings.

Qualifications

• 10+  years of Business Systems Analysis experience in an Information Systems Development environment.

• Extensive full project life cycle experience from initiation through to post implementation support

• Expertise in requirements gathering, functional specifications, CASE tools, System Test Plans, User Documentation, Systems Analysis, Software Development and Systems Integration.

• An expert in Rational Unified Process (RUP), UML (Use Case & Activity Diagram Design).

• Ability to document requirements and processes using business analysis techniques such as Use Cases, Activity Diagrams, Business Process Maps.

• Experience leading and facilitating Joint Application Design (JAD) Sessions.

• Experience in the financial services industry.

• Possesses understanding in the areas of application programming, database and system design.

• Understands Internet, Intranet, Extranet and client/server architectures.

4. Technical Writer

This role involves producing the technical documentation for VirtualSAFE™ and customer implementations.  The Technical Writer is responsible for working with the project team and thoroughly documenting workflows, technical descriptions, test plans and user documentation.

Responsibilities

• Write technical product documentation for end-users and systems administrators.

• Interpret industry specific standards and create documentation based on these standards.

• Write test plans that can be tested against industry specific standards.

• Write technical and marketing material.

• Create multimedia training course material for web based E-Commerce applications.

• Participate in setting standards and procedures for documentation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of technical writing experience in commercial software.

• BA/MA in English or related degree.

• Ability to work within tight schedule constraints and deadlines.

• Self motivated and can work independently.

• Expert with authoring tools like FrameMaker and LaTeX.

5. Software Developer (Engineer)

Working in a small team environment, you will participate in the full development life cycle of Cyberun’s VirtualSAFE Internet Security and Electronic Commerce applications development. You will be expected to code and implement functional components from high-level specifications. You will also maintain, test, and enhance existing code base and provide secondary product support.  Most importantly, your ability to work independently and in a high-pressure environment is essential.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications based on functional specifications while adhering to system standards and procedures.

• Programming, unit testing, system testing, implementing and providing support to users.

• Analyze and develop program logic and scripts based on business rules and requirements.

• Participate in the design of solutions based on VirtualSAFE.

• Working within the code team, code appropriate VirtualSAFE modules based on the functional specifications.

You will be expected to code and implement functional components from high-level specifications. You will also maintain, test, and enhance existing code base and provide secondary product support.  Most importantly, your ability to work independently and in a high-pressure environment is essential.  The successful candidate will be accountable for the architecture, design and development of applications utilizing Oracle technologies such as Oracle jDeveloper, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports.

Responsibilities

• Lead in architecture, modeling and design of applications utilizing Oracle technology.

• Prepare modeling, architectural, design, and administration documentation.

• Demonstrated proficiency in all phases of systems development life cycle.

As part of the developer you will responsible for the presentation layer of the applications deployed with VirtualSAFE.  You will develop and test the presentation layer from functional requirements.

• Architect, develop and maintain  web-based  E-Commerce applications.

• Actively support the existing business systems as well as design and  development of new applications.

• Develop technical architectural specifications, code, test, implement and maintain web applications.

• Develop JavaScript validations.

Qualifications

• Experience in C++ and Oracle databases, Java, Active X, IIS, Active Server Pages, CGI scripting.

• Post secondary education in Computer Science, Information Technology or other related discipline.

8. Quality Assurance Engineer

As a highly skilled Senior QA Engineer you must have dedication to quality to meet or exceed customer expectations, perseverance to complete assignments in the face of challenges.  A motivation to with the ability to work with minimal supervision. The candidate must be able to define and execute the system and design test cases and tools to test the internal functions of the system.

Responsibilities

• Generate test data, develop and execute test plans for white and black box functional testing.

• Work with the project team to isolate, record, and track issues.

• Work closely with software developers to define test requirements and describe and isolate software defects.

• Analyze test runs and provide feedback in the product design and specification process.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• 5+ years in Software Quality Assurance.

• Strong Oracle backend skills is a must, ability to set-up development databases, proven experience with SQL and data retrieval.

• Comprehensive understanding of SDLC and QA methodologies, procedures and QA documentation.

9. Systems Administrator

We are seeking a unique individual who can configure and manage a range of Linux and Windows systems and a variety of networking and security devices.  You will be responsible for building and maintaining all our systems and ensuring they are secure and stable. You will provide guidance and assistance to others on technology and best practices as they relate to our infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, configure and build our Linux and Windows systems.

• Implement scalable, multi-architecture network based services.

• Provide orientation and training to end-users for all modified and new systems.

• Conduct research on emerging products, services, protocols, and standards in support of systems procurement and development efforts.
